Enter the Paterson Offer Quality Competition

Offer your clients in 2010 the quality of GROHE, Villeroy & Boch or KEUCO bathroom products from Paterson. Each time you do, you can enter the draw to win a DesignTour for two to Germany for the March 2011 International Sanitation & HeatingTrade Fair – the industry’s leading trade fair in Frankfurt.

The Design Tour, worth $20,000, will include visits to: The Grohe Design and Production Facilities which have made Grohe the leading brand of quality tapware worldwide; The Villeroy & Boch Mettlach Production Facility based around the original Benedictine Abbey which has been offering the finest ceramics since 1748; The Red Dot Design Museum, the renowned experience to see outstanding design close up. Entry is open to all architects and designers, whether individuals or organisations, for all projects specifying Grohe, Villeroy & Boch or Keuco products during the promotion period 1 February 2010 to 15 December 2010. You can enter more than once – as long as each entry is for a separate project.



Conditions of Entry

  1. Instructions on how to complete the entry form and enter the competition are part of these conditions. Entering the competition will be deemed acceptance of these conditions.
  2. The competition is only open to NZ residents and NZ resident organisations.
  3. The competition runs from 1 February 2010 until 5pm on 15 December 2010. Entries received after this closing time will be ineligible for entry. Incomplete or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. PatersonTrading Company Ltd (PTC) accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due to any cause whatsoever. PTC reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.
  4. There is no limit on the number of entries per architect/designer provided each entry is for a different project.
  5. The competition will be drawn on 16 December 2010.The first valid entry drawn will win a prize of a trip for two to Germany to attend the March 2011 International Sanitation & Heating trade fair in Frankfurt and tours of the Grohe, Villeroy & Boch and Keuco design and production facilities.The prize includes return airfares for two (2) to Germany (and if required, airline transfers to Auckland from the winner’s nearest provincial centre), twinshare hotel accommodation, all airport, hotel and event transfers, and most meals. All other costs associated with the prize are the winner’s responsibility including spending money, other meals and drinks, medical/travel insurance, visas, taxes, laundry and all personal items.
  6. While the winner will be consulted regarding the itinerary, the prize must be taken on specified dates in March 2011 to be determined by PTC in its absolute discretion. PTC will prepare the itinerary and make all travel and accommodation arrangements. If the winner or valid transferees are unable to travel on the specified dates, the prize will be deemed forfeited.The prize cannot be taken as cash.
  7. If the winner is an organisation or an individual within an organisation, the prize may be taken up by other persons in the organisation provided the organisation’s principal or the individual winner advises PTC in writing of the nominated transferees within [4 weeks] of the prize being claimed.The nominated persons will be deemed valid transferees. Otherwise the prize is not transferable.
  8. PTC will attempt to contact the winner by phone, email and mail during the week following the 16 December 2010 draw.The winner’s name will also be published on PTC’s website. If the prize remains unclaimed as at 15 January 2011, it will be deemed forfeited and another draw will be held on that date.
  9. The winner and accompanying person or valid transferees must hold current passports at their time of travel and take out comprehensive medical/travel insurance for the prize trip.
  10. To the maximum extent permitted by law,neither PTC nor any person or entity associated with the promotion shall beliable for any loss, damage or personal injury of whatsoever nature in connection with the competition and/or the prize and howsoever sustained, whether due to negligence or otherwise.
  11. Neither PTC nor any person or entity associated with the promotion shall be liable for any loss in connection with the missing of flights or other travel connections during the prize trip.
  12. If for any reason this competition or the prize trip (or any part of either) is not capable of being run as planned due to any cause beyond the reasonable control of PTC, PTC reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify, suspend or cancel the competition or prize trip (or any part).
  13. Acceptance of the prize will constitute consent by the winner or valid transferees for PTC to use their name, details and image for promotional purposes without any further permission or remuneration.
  14. All entries become the property of PTC. All personal details provided by entrants will be held by PTC. The details will be used for verification of the prize winner’s identity and, unless otherwise requested, may be used for future promotional activities conducted by PTC. Under the Privacy Act 1993 entrants may access and correct their personal details by contacting PTC.
  15. Employees of PTC (and their immediate families) and plumbers’ merchants and their employees are ineligible for entry.
  16. PTC's decisions on all matters in connection with the competition or prize will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
